Candace Mogavero and Patt McRae began this adventure by importing the three Russian Tsvetnaya Bolonkas pictured above. Left to right is: Gigi; Neko and Pearl
As these wonderful little dogs began to be better known, a consortium of women consisting of Candace Mogavero, Patricia McRae, Jane Falkenstein and Nancy Holmes joined together to import four more Russian Tsvetnaya Bolonkas. Left to right: Aljapa aka Rina, Toska, TsaTsa and below another male: Ladushki Schlegal aka Asa and Ladushki Rozetka aka Natasha. The rest, as they say, is history.
Through the efforts of Candace Mogavero and Patricia McRae, the Russian Tsvetnaya Bolonkas were recognized by the American Rare Breed Association and Rarities. Now you can expect to see a bolonka in the show ring in almost any rarebreed show, thanks to exihibitors like Candi, Patt, Jane and BJ.
When the second round of importing Bolonkas happend the three females came to the US already pregnant. How exciting for us to have a chance to bring the lines from Russian males here to the US. Additionally we had our own American bred litters being born as well. Below is the First American Family of Tsvetnaya Bolonaks here in the US
